Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Point the remote at your Vizio TV and press the Power button to test functionality.
  3. Code Search Setup: Press and hold the SETUP button until the LED light blinks twice, then release.
  4. Enter Code: Enter the 3-digit code for your TV model (see code list in specifications section).
  5. Test Functions: Test volume, channel, and input buttons to ensure proper programming.
  6. Device Programming: Repeat process for additional devices (soundbar, streaming box, etc.) using device-specific codes.
  7. Final Check: Ensure all programmed devices respond correctly to remote commands.
