Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert 2 AAA batteries with correct polarity.
  2. Power On: Ensure your Vizio TV is plugged in and powered on.
  3. Pairing (Smart Models): For smart remotes, press and hold the Pair button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator blinks.
  4. Test Functions: Test basic functions like power, volume, and channel buttons to ensure proper operation.
  5. Code Setup (Universal Models): For universal remotes, enter the appropriate code for your TV model using the code list provided.
  6. Voice Control Setup: For voice-enabled remotes, follow on-screen prompts to set up microphone permissions.
  7. Final Check: Test all major functions including input selection, menu navigation, and special features.
Warning: Use only recommended battery types. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
